Introducing the Funkin Cocktails Heritage Competition

JOIN US IN CELEBRATING OUR 25TH BIRTHDAY AT THE ANNUAL FUNKIN COCKTAILS HERITAGE COMPETITION! WE ARE INVITING YOU TO CREATE A COCKTAIL THAT HONOURS THE PAST WHILE ALSO INCORPORATING MODERN TECHNIQUES AND INGREDIENTS, HIGHLIGHTING THE IMPORTANCE OF BALANCING TRADITION AND INNOVATION IN MIXOLOGY.

How to enter

  • STEP 1

    BEFORE ENTERING, PLEASE READ THE FULL RULES TO THE COMPETITION HERE.

    Register to receive your 3 x FUNKIN COCKTAILS Liqueurs here.

  • STEP 2

    Cocktails MUST contain at least 35ml of FUNKIN COCKTAILS Liqueur and no more than 6 ingredients. Extra points if you incorporate sustainable methods/ingredients.

  • STEP 3

    Take a photo of your cocktail and share to instagram. Tag us on @funkincocktails and #FCH24

Your Submission must include
1. Full name of the entrant
2. An original cocktail name
3. A photo of the cocktail which is then also shared on social media - story and grid post - with all given hashtags and handles @funkincocktails #FunkinCocktailsHeritage #FCH24
4. The story/idea behind the drink creation including what inspired you from the past and how have you modernised this
5. Full ingredients list including measurements and method of execution
6. Full method for homemade ingredients (if any used)
7. Glass type
8. Garnish

Internet access and Funkin Trade Hub account required. Opens: 09:00 03.06.24. Closes: 23:59 01.08.24. Final qualification: 6 x qualifying entrants will be selected to attend the Final based on criteria by a panel of 3 judges (inc.1 x independent judge) from all valid entries. The Final will be held at the Palm House, London on 28.08.24 at 14:00. Prizes: 3 x Winners total. Winners chosen by a panel of judges based on final criteria. 1st Prize: 1 x £1,000. 2nd Prize: 1 x £300 dining experience in the UK. 3rd Prize: (i) 1 x £100, and (ii) 3 x Funkin 700ml Liqueurs.
