Our favourite bars in London (tried and tested)
Bar Swift -
We love Swift! And now we’re lucky enough to have 2 of them - the original in Soho and the all-day version in Shoreditch.
Reasons to visit: atmosphere, impeccable service, the drinks are always delicious.
It’s very consistent, and undoubtedly the cocktails are always spot-on. The bar teams have amazing classic cocktail knowledge, regardless how obscure the cocktail may be, so ordering off-menu is easy and adventurous.
Favourite cocktail: Swift’s famous Elderflower Sgroppino
Little Mercies
A neighbourhood bar with a major food science application to cocktails - clarified, infused, re-distilled…you name it! The cocktails are never what they seem and even their Margarita is going to delight and surprise you. The bar is flourishing in the heart of Crouch End in North London but certainly worth getting out of your way for a visit.
Reasons to visit: the team is amongst the friendliest we’ve ever encountered. Food was sublime and bursting with flavour, but cocktails were the star of the show. Most of the cocktails are pre-batched - i.e. the ingredients are pre-mixed and chilled, ready to be poured in a single motion. No wonder that Little Mercies are amongst 50 top bars in the UK
Favourite cocktail: Snickers Old Fashioned
Revolution Ladenhall
This massive vodka Revs is perfect for big team gatherings! We love the menu, the vibes and the ice cold Revs Flavour Vodka shots.
Reasons to visit: Creative and instagrammable cocktails, large space, good music and tasty food. We love how grand the space is and how conveniently located in the heart of London City.
Favourite cocktail: Free the Nipple

Oriole
Oriole is easily the institution of Smithfields market. Never have we ever had a bad cocktail at Oriole, bar and it’s crucial to mention that the cocktails served are the most BEAUTIFUL.
Reasons to visit: a live jazz band plays every evening and the atmosphere is superb but more suitable for those cold cold nights because the bar is in the basement. It’s dark and very intimate. The venue is a real treat for a date night or a cosy gettogether. The only potential barrier is that Oriole requires a booking deposit so make sure you get there on time.
Favourite cocktail: Our Cities of The Plain
Satan’s Whiskers
Delving further East, in Bethnal Green lies Satan’s Whiskers. Local and always busy with every corner of the bar being filled with hip hop beats.
Reasons to visit: Perfectly delicious classics and modern classics with a daily changing menu. Amazing value for cocktails too with cocktails selling for around £9! From cocktails, to music, decor and snacks, Satan’s Whiskers remain an absolute fave.
Favourite cocktail: East 8 Hold Up
Be At One Camden
Funkin is Camden born and bred so our office location means we visit the local high street establishments A LOT! But our most frequently visited cocktail bar is definitely Be At One in Camden.
Reasons to visit: we love the vibes, the music, and breezy slushie cocktails. Consistent, quick and naughty with a big visual menu and bar team dancing on the bar, coyote-ugly-style! This is the perfect bar for a team which loves cocktails as much as we do!
Favourite cocktail: Buenot
