Terms and Conditions:  


Promoter: Funkin Limited. (us, we, our). 


Promotional Period Opens: 00:01 on 1 June 2024.


Promotional Period Closes: 23:59 on 31 August 2024.


Entry: To enter:

  1. (i) purchase a Qualifying Order from a Qualifying Wholesalers, 
  2. (ii)  scan the QR code, or visit https://funkincocktailstrade.co.uk/pages/25-years-of-trade-giveaway, and  
  3. (iii) input your personal details when prompted. 

 

Qualifying Order: A qualifying order shall be the purchase of a minimum of 5 x cases (5 x 1kg) of Funkin Cocktails Purée pouches. The 5 x cases can be made in any combination of the following flavours: (i) Apple, (ii) Banana, (iii) Blackberry, (iv) Blackcurrant, (v) Blueberry, (vi) Coconut, (vii) Kiwi, (viii) Lychee, (ix) Mango, (x) Mixed Berry, (xi) Morello Cherry, (xii) Passion Fruit, (xiii) Pear, (xiv) Pineapple, (xv) Pomegranate, (xvi) Pure Pour Lemon, (xvii) Pure Pour Lime, (xviii) Raspberry, (xviii) Strawberry, (xix) White Peach, (xx) Apricot.

 

Qualifying Wholesalers: (i) Matthew Clarke Ltd, (ii) Dunns Food and Drink Limited, (iii) Tennent Caledonian Breweries Wholesale Limited, (iv) Bestway Wholesale Limited, (v) LWC Drinks Limited, (vi) HB Clark & Co (Successors) Limited, (vii) Inn Express Limited, (viii) Dayla Limited, (ix) Castell Howell Foods Limited, (x) La Diva Drinks & Food Ltd, (xi) Drink Warehouse UK Limited, (xii) Champers (Wholesale) Limited, (xiii) Musgrave Distribution Ltd, (xiv) Amathus Drinks plc, (xv) Nectar Imports Limited, (xvi) Venus Wine and Spirit Merchants plc, and (xvii) William Morton Limited.


Eligibility: Open to UK legal residents aged 18 or over. Normal exclusions apply. Any entries received before or after the promotional period will not be valid and will not be entered into this promotion. Purchase of a qualifying order necessary. One entry per transaction containing one, or more, qualifying order only.   


Winners: 7 x winners total. 1 x winner will win 3-night 4* hotel stay for 2 people in Barcelona (Barcelona). 2 x winners will win a 1-night 4* hotel stay for 2 people in a British city of winner’s choice (UK). 2 x winners will win a 1-night 4* hotel stay for 2 people in Edinburgh (Edinburgh). 2 x winners will win 1-night 4* hotel stay for 2 people in London (London).


Barcelona Prize: The Barcelona Prize includes: 


  1. Return economy flights for the Winner and their companion from a London Airport on an airline chosen by the Promoter, or their agent. 
  2. A 3 night stay in a double or twin room (based on the Winner and their companion sharing) within a minimum 4* luxury hotel in Barcelona chosen by the Promoter, or their agent.
  3. Return private transfers from Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat airport to the hotel described above, for both the outbound and inbound legs of the journey. 
  4. Tapas and cocktails at a Barcelona tapas restaurant for the Winner and their companion, up to a maximum value of ninety pounds (£90) per person (total £180), inclusive of any service charges.
  5. A two hour signature cocktail masterclass at a Barcelona cocktail bar for the Winner and their companion, including 4 cocktails and 1 post-class drinks. 
  6. Cocktails at an award-winning bar in Barcelona, Sips, for the Winner and their companion, up to a maximum of one hundred pounds (£100) per person (total £200), inclusive of any service charges. 
  7. Two hundred and fifty pounds (£250) spending money.

The Barcelona Prize does not include: - 


  1. Travel/transportation, transfers to / from the UK based airport, food  (outside those of which are described in the Barcelona Prize), beverages (outside those of which are described in the Barcelona Prize), souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, excess baggage, optional flight/board/transfer/accommodation supplements, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal or incidental nature (outside of the spending money described in the Barcelona Prize) that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
  2. The prize does not include travel insurance. It is your responsibility and that of your companion (as applicable), to take out, at your own cost, all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to obtain.

Barcelona Prize Specific Terms and Conditions: 


  1. The Winner and their companion must have a valid passport to travel and win the Prize. This includes having sufficient time on your passport to allow entry to Spain at the chosen date. 
  2. The Winner and their companion must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry requirements including any medical/health screening requirement or similar.
  3. The Tapas and Cocktails Prize specified at Prize (4) shall be at the choice of the Winner. Prior to travelling, the Winner must notify the Promoter of their choice of venue. The Promoter shall provide a pre-paid bar tab at the identified venue to be used by the Winner. 

UK Prize: The UK Prize includes: 


  1. A 1 night stay in a double or twin room (based on the Winner and their companion sharing) within a minimum 4* luxury hotel in the british city of the Winner’s choosing. The luxury hotel shall be chosen by the Promoter, or their agent.
  2. Breakfast at the hotel accommodation described above. 
  3. A three course dinner and drinks at a restaurant in the British city of the Winner’s choosing for the Winner and their companion, up to a maximum value of seventy five pounds (£75) per person (total £150), inclusive of any service charges.  

The UK Prize does not include: - 


  1. Travel/transportation, transfers, food  (outside those of which are described in the UK Prize), beverages (outside those of which are described in the UK Prize), souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, additional transfers to / from any of the UK Prize events / excursions, optional rail / board / transfer / accommodation supplements, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal or incidental nature that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the UK Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
  2. The UK Prize does not include travel insurance. It is your responsibility and that of your companion (as applicable), to take out, at your own cost, all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to obtain.

UK Prize Specific Terms and Conditions: 


  1. The luxury hotel and restaurant of the Winner’s choosing must be within the same British City. 

Edinburgh Prize: The Edinburgh Prize includes: 


  1. Either: (i) standard class return train travel, or (ii) economy flights, for the Winner and their companion from any mainland UK rail station or UK airport to Edinburgh. The choice of flights or rail shall be at the sole discretion of the Promoter, or their agent. 
  2. Return private transfers for the Winner and their companion to the hotel accommodation described below from either Edinburgh rail station or Edinburgh Airport. 
  3. A 1 night stay in a double or twin room (based on the Winner and their companion sharing) within a minimum 4* luxury hotel in Edinburgh chosen by the Promoter, or their agent.
  4. Breakfast at the hotel accommodation described above. 
  5. Cocktails at an award-winning bar in Edinburgh, Panda & Sons, for the Winner and their companion, up to a maximum of ninety pounds (£90) per person (total £180), inclusive of any service charges. 

The Edinburgh Prize does not include: - 


  1. Travel/transportation  transfers to / from the UK rail station / airport, food  (outside those of which are described in the London Prize), beverages (outside those of which are described in the London Prize), souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, additional transfers to / from any of the London Prize events / excursions, optional rail / board / transfer / accommodation supplements, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal or incidental nature that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the London Prize will be responsible for any such costs; 
  2. The Edinburgh Prize does not include travel insurance. It is your responsibility and that of your companion (as applicable), to take out, at your own cost, all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to obtain.

London Prize: The London Prize includes: 


  1. Standard class return train travel for the Winner and their companion from any mainland UK rail station to London. 
  2. Return private station transfers for the Winner and their companion from the London train station to the hotel accommodation described below. 
  3. A 1 night stay in a double or twin room (based on the Winner and their companion sharing) within a minimum 4* luxury hotel in London chosen by the Promoter, or their agent.
  4. Breakfast at the hotel accommodation described above. 
  5. A three course dinner and drinks at a London restaurant for the Winner and their companion, up to a maximum value of seventy five pounds (£75) per person (total £150), inclusive of any service charges.  
  6. Cocktails at an award-winning bar in London, Bar Swift Soho, for the Winner and their companion, up to a maximum of sixty pounds (£60) per person (total £120), inclusive of any service charges. 

The London Prize does not include: - 


  1. Travel/transportation,  transfers to / from the UK rail station, food  (outside those of which are described in the London Prize), beverages (outside those of which are described in the London Prize), souvenirs, gratuities, car parking charges, additional transfers to / from any of the London Prize events / excursions, optional rail / board / transfer / accommodation supplements, additional excursions and attractions or any other costs of a personal or incidental nature that are not explicitly set out in these terms and conditions and neither the Promoter nor any provider of any part of the London Prize will be responsible for any such costs.
  2. The London Prize does not include travel insurance. It is your responsibility and that of your companion (as applicable), to take out, at your own cost, all relevant insurance (including but not limited to health and travel insurance, insurance for theft, loss and damage to property) which may be required or prudent to obtain.


General Prize Terms & Conditions (Applicable to all Prizes in this Promotion)


  1. All Winners and their chosen companions must be over 18 years of age at the date the Prize is claimed. 
  2. The Promoter shall not be responsible for any incorrect information provided by the Winner which causes them to not claim their Prize within the required timescale. 
  3. The Winner must contact the Promoter’s agent, Element London, with three preferred travel dates no later than six weeks after the date the Winner has been informed that they have won.  Further details shall be provided once the Winner has claimed their Prize from the Promoter. 
  4. All aspects of the Prizes claimed by the Winner must be used / claimed at the same time. Any aspect of a Prize that is not used / claimed by the Winner is assumed to not be wanted and the Winner therefore foregos the opportunity to use that aspect of the Prize. 
  5. Each Prize must be claimed and used within 12 months from the date which the Winner was contacted by the Promoter telling them they have won. If a Winner is unable to attend during this period, they forego the opportunity to claim their respective Prize. 
  6. The Prizes, and each element described as part of each Prize, is subject to availability, and dates shall be decided at the sole discretion of the Promoter, or their agent, based on the best availability of the Winners. 
  7. The Winner cannot claim their respective Prize on the following dates: (i) 21 December 2024 - 02 January 2025 (inclusive); (ii) any bank holidays recognised in England; or (iii) 18 - 20 April 2025 (inclusive). 
  8. All Prizes require a debit or credit card for a security deposit when checking into the hotel accommodation. The Promoter shall bear no responsibility or liability for any charges incurred by the Winner against the debit or credit card deposit, or any surplus to the said deposit. 
  9. We accept no responsibility for any costs associated with the Prize that are not specifically and expressly included in the Prize description. Any such costs that are not described in the Prize description shall be borne by you.
  10. Each Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. 
  11. No cash alternative prize is available to be won in place of any Prize. 
  12. For the purposes of arranging and booking travel as part of this London Prize, the Promoter’s agent, Element London shall be considered to be the data controller under UK data protection laws. Draw: 7 x winners will be drawn by us at random on [date] from all valid entries received. The Prizes shall be allocated in the following order: 


Winner 1 - Barcelona Prize

Winner 2 - UK Prize

Winner 3 - Edinburgh Prize

Winner 4 - London Prize

Winner 5 - London Prize

Winner 6 - Edinburgh Prize

Winner 7 - UK Prize


We will contact the winner within 20 working days of the closing date by email asking them to accept their Prize and provide their personal details. Please look out for email from the Funkin team in your email address inbox.  If the Winner does not respond claiming their Prize, they will forfeit their prize and we may re-draw an alternative winner.


The winner’s name may be used by us to name the winner. The winner’s surname and county will be obtainable only by sending a stamped addressed envelope request to: Shannon Kendall, Senior On-Trade Marketing Manager, (25 YEARS OF TRADE GIVEAWAY) - Funkin Limited., 122 Arlington Road, Camden, London NW1 7HP. The winner may request that their surname and county are not published or request for the amount of information being published to be reduced by contacting the Promoter at the address above. Without prejudice, the Promoter will provide this information to the Advertising Standards Authority on reasonable request.
